PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Rail mounted gantry crane is a kind of rail mounted crane used to offload, stack and load 20ft, 40ft, 45ft ISO standard containers. Its provision of power is offered by cable reel. The crane contains three mechanisms: hoisting, trolley travelling and gantry travelling. The trolley running along the track mounted on gantry beam is capable to serve among legs. The crane is able to make straight movement along railsThe crane is equipped with appropriate flexible hydraulic container spreader, which is connected to trolley through the upper frame and wire rope system.
TECHNICAL DATA
APPLICATION
1. Container Terminals & Ports
Handling ISO containers (20ft, 40ft, 45ft) for loading/unloading vessels, trucks, and trains.
Stacking containers in high‑density storage yards with up to 1-over-5 or higher stacking capability.
Operating in automated or semi‑automated terminals with remote control and anti‑sway systems.
2. Intermodal Rail Yards Transferring containers between railcars and ground storage or road trucks. Servicing double‑stack container trains to maximize freight throughput. Supporting fast turnaround of intermodal logistics hubs with high duty cycles.
3. Steel Mills & Heavy Industry Moving steel coils, slabs, billets, and finished products in outdoor storage yards. Feeding processing lines (pickling, annealing, coating) with raw materials. Loading heavy steel products onto rail wagons or trucks using electromagnets or coil tongs.
4. Precast Concrete & Construction Logistics Lifting and stacking large precast concrete elements (beams, columns, wall panels) in manufacturing yards. Loading heavy components for delivery to construction sites. Handling molds, rebar cages, and formwork in precast plants.
5. Bulk Material Handling Operating with grabs or clamshell buckets for handling coal, ore, aggregates, or grain. Stockpiling and reclaiming materials in power plants, steelworks, or port terminals. Feeding hoppers, crushers, or conveyors with consistent material supply.
6. Railway Maintenance & Rolling Stock Depots Lifting locomotives, passenger cars, and freight wagons for maintenance, wheel replacement, and repair. Servicing railway infrastructure components (turnouts, switches, track panels). Providing reliable heavy lifting in depot areas with limited overhead space.

FEATURES
1
High Lifting Capacity: Typically ranges from 10 tons to over 100 tons, suitable for heavy industrial and container handling applications.
2
Extended Span & Height: Rail‑mounted design allows for large spans (up to 60+ meters) and high lift heights, maximizing storage density and work area coverage.
3
Efficient Land Use: Operates on dedicated rails, enabling high‑density stacking and organized material flow without the need for wide turning radii.
4
Precision & Anti‑Sway: Advanced control systems (frequency converters, anti‑sway technology) ensure accurate load positioning even at high speeds or in windy conditions.
5
High Duty Cycle: Built to FEM/ISO class A5–A8 for continuous, heavy‑duty operation in demanding environments.
6
Automation : Can be integrated with remote control, semi‑automated, or fully automated systems for increased safety and productivity.
