The Double Girder Grab Gantry Crane is a heavy-duty material handling solution specifically designed for bulk and loose material operations in outdoor or semi-outdoor environments. Unlike standard hook-type gantry cranes, this crane is equipped with a motor-driven grab bucket (clamshell or orange-peel type) that opens and closes to scoop, transport, and discharge bulk cargo such as coal, ore, sand, slag, scrap metal, or grain. The double girder configuration provides superior rigidity, higher lifting heights, and greater stability compared to single girder designs, making it ideal for heavy-duty, high-cycle applications. Capacities typically range from 5 tons to 30 tons for grab lifting, with spans up to 35 meters.
