PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Telescopic Boom Ship Crane is a versatile and space‑efficient lifting solution specifically designed for marine and offshore applications where deck space is at a premium and operational flexibility is paramount. Unlike fixed‑boom or knuckle‑boom designs, the telescopic boom features multiple nested sections that extend and retract hydraulically, allowing the crane to achieve extended reach when needed while maintaining a compact stowed profile.
TECHNICAL DATA
APPLICATION
1. General Cargo & Container Vessels
Cargo Hold Access: Reaching deep into cargo holds to load and unpackaged goods, palletized materials, and breakbulk cargo using the telescopic boom's extended reach.
Deck Cargo Handling: Lifting containers, machinery, and heavy equipment stored on deck with the ability to adjust reach for different stowage positions.
Hatch Cover Removal: Lifting and repositioning heavy hatch covers during loading and unloading operations.
2. Offshore Supply Vessels (OSV) Platform Supply: Transferring pipes, drilling equipment, containers, and bulk materials from the vessel deck to offshore platforms using variable reach to match platform elevations. Deck Cargo Management: Organizing and repositioning deck cargo (coils, reels, chemical tanks) with the crane's ability to reach across the vessel's deck. Anchor Handling Support: Assisting in anchor deployment and retrieval by positioning loads precisely over the stern or bow.
3. Research & Oceanographic Vessels Scientific Equipment Deployment: Launching and recovering CTD rosettes, sediment corers, plankton nets, and underwater sampling gear with controlled boom extension for precise water column positioning. Mooring System Handling: Lifting and placing heavy mooring anchors, buoyancy elements, and acoustic releases during oceanographic array installations.
4. Naval & Military Vessels Underway Replenishment (UNREP): Transferring stores, ammunition, and supplies between naval vessels at sea using the crane's telescopic reach to bridge the gap between ships. Small Boat Handling: Launching and recovering rigid hull inflatable boats (RHIBs), landing craft, and unmanned surface vessels (USVs) from deck stowage. Weapons & Equipment Handling: Lifting missile canisters, gun mounts, and radar components during maintenance and resupply operations.
5. Dredging & Marine Construction Vessels Pipeline & Hose Handling: Positioning and aligning dredge pipes, discharge hoses, and floating pipelines with the crane's extendable boom to reach across water surfaces. Rock Dumping Operations: Operating grabs or fall pipes for seabed leveling and scour protection, utilizing variable reach to cover wide work areas. Temporary Works: Lifting cofferdams, sheet piles, and modular structures from barges during marine construction projects.
6. Fishing & Seafood Processing Vessels Net & Gear Handling: Hauling and deploying heavy trawl nets, purse seines, and fishing gear with the crane's ability to extend over the stern or side for efficient operations. Catch Transfer: Lifting loaded fish bins, pallets, and processing equipment between the deck and factory holds. Ice & Supply Loading: Handling ice blocks, fuel hoses, and consumables during port calls.

FEATURES
1
Variable Reach: Hydraulically extendable boom sections provide adjustable lifting radii, allowing the crane to service different deck areas or reach over obstacles.
2
Compact Stowage: When retracted, the crane occupies minimal deck space, reducing interference with vessel operations and improving safety during heavy seas.
3
High Maneuverability: Precise hydraulic controls enable smooth, metered boom extension and retraction, ideal for confined spaces and precise load placement.
4
Marine‑Grade Construction: High‑tensile steel with specialized anti‑corrosion coatings, stainless steel hydraulic fittings, and sealed electrical components for long‑term durability.
5
Flexible Mounting Options: Available in pedestal, deck‑mounted, or flush‑deck configurations to suit various vessel types and space constraints.
